Scott Piercy Breaks Course Record with a Round 1 62 at Safeway Open by Jake Martino
Scott Piercy was on fire in Round 1 of the Safeway Open. The tournament in which we all anticipated the return of Tiger Woods. Unfortunately, before the round he withdrew with this quote... “I am physically ready to play, but my game isn’t at the level that it needs to be”. Piercy tore up to course with an impressive 32 on the front nine and a 30 on the back. Tee Times are scheduled to begin at 7:20AM. Here is the Round 1 leaderboard…
