Indians Sweep, Advance To ALCS by Camdyn Ames

On Monday night the Cleveland Indians completed a three game sweep of the Boston Red Sox to advance to the ALCS against the Toronto Blue Jays. The game went by quickly being scoreless until the top of the 4th when Tyler Naquin drove in Jose Ramirez and Lonnie Chisenhall. The Sox struck back in the bottom of the 5th when Andrew Bennintendi smacked a double off the monster to bring home Xander Bogaerts. Coco Crisp later homered in the 6th driving in Ramirez with it and the Tribe went ahead 4-1, but the Sox weren't done just yet scoring again in the bottom of the 6th and in the 8th to make it a 1-run game but that we all they could do as Travis Shaw flew out to right field with runners on 1st and 2nd to end the game, and their season. The Indians will take on the Blue Jays in Cleveland for game 1 on Friday, October 14th at 8:00 p.m. on TBS.
