Tribe take 2-0 ALDS Lead by Camdyn Ames
On Friday night the Cleveland Indians defeated the Boston Red Sox 6-0 to take a 2-0 series lead. Te bats started in the Bottom half of the 2nd inning for the Tribe when Brandon Guyer knocked in Carlos Santana on a single and Chisenhall followed up with a home run that scored Guyer, and Jose Ramirez. They struck again in the 4th on a Jason Kipinis single and again in the 6th on a Rajai Davis sac fly. Corey Kluber was phenomenal going 7.0 innings, allowing just 3 hits and no runs while sitting down 7 and walking just 3. On the other hand David Price's postseason woes continued only lasting 3.1 innings, allowing 5 earned runs on 6 hits while striking out 3 and walking 2. Guyer led Cleveland going 3 for 4 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. Game 3 will be in Boston on Sunday, October 9th at 4:00 p.m. on TBS. Josh Tomlin will be on the bump for the Indians and Clay Buchholz for the Red Sox.
