The Riders defeat La Salle for the Colonial Council Championship by Camdyn Ames
On Friday, September 23rd the Ichabod Crane Riders Varsity Golf team won the Colonial Council Championships. The Riders (334) defeated LaSalle Institute (340) and Albany Academy (341) who placed third. For the La Salle Cadets Senior Logan Discanio (82) Senior Sebastian VanDerbeck (83) and Sophmore Kean Tooney (83) led the way. The Albany Academy Cadets had Sophmore Ryan Warmick (76) and Brandon Navarro (86) in front. And for the 1st place Riders Senior Scott Vandenburgh shot a 75, Freshman Trevor Wolfe shot an 81 on the day, and Eighth Grader Tismark Boham shot an 83. The Riders travel to Schalmont to take on the Sabres on Monday, September 26th and Sectionals start on October 5th.
