Hudson, Ichabod Rivalry Renewed by Camdyn Ames
The Hudson Bluehawks and Ichabod Crane Riders renewed their rivalry on Friday night as it was all Bluehawks 64-0. The Riders ground game was led by Freshmen Marcus George who only carried the ball six times for only 5 yards. Sophomore Tyler James completed 5 out of 15 attempts at quarterback for 34 yards. Two of those passes to Sophomore Tobi Zucco for 18 yards total. George also caught a 10 yard pass and Sophomore Christian Pesano caught two passes for 6 yards. For the Bluehawks running back Mike Alert had a break out game rushing for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 3 carries. Willie Walker rushed 7 times for 68 yards and a TD, Marcus Reid rushed 3 times for 51 yards and a TD, Jahmir Barnett - Williams rushed 5 times for just 4 yards but scored a TD, Tyler Bleau added 72 yards and a TD, Zac Wilburn had 52 yards on 5 carries and a TD, and Mohammad Alamin had a 32 yard TD. The passing game was led by Walker who completed 3 out of 4 passes for 64 yards including a 14 yard TD to receiver Ryan Grandinetti. The Riders host the Schalmont Sabres next Friday 9/30 at 7:00.
