NYCFC Keeps on Rolling, Stays Atop in the East; MLS Week 20 Recap by Jake Martino


NYCFC just keeps the wins coming winning against the Montreal Impact 3-1 in Montreal. This was a great overall game for the team just playing superb defense and classy soccer. NYCFC struck in the 35th minute with a beautiful goal by David Villa and again in the 1st half scoring in the 45th minute plus two stoppage time goal by NYCFC rookie Jack Harrison. Montreal had chances and scored in the 55th mintue scored by Shipp. Things just kept clicking for NYCFC when Chelsea vet Frank Lampard added to the score sheet in the 85th minute off yet another diflection goal. NYCFC stays atop the table in the east with 33 points.
